Brad Paisley is known for being a prankster, playing practical jokes many of his tour mates while out on the road. But recently, the singer decided to go rouge and post song clips from his upcoming album, Moonshine in the Trunk, to the dismay of his management and record label, Sony Music Nashville.

In a mission that started last week, Paisley took over his YouTube channel to post numerous videos, which were immediately taken down by his management/label. He also posted several emails scolding him over his actions. Check out his Tweets below.

I’m going rogue. The label doesn’t know I’m doing this. Seriously. But I made a Moonshine Preview teaser. Don’t tell. t.co/8zZ4obKG4n

And the tweets go on and on… Sunday (7/27) night, after many emails, Paisley agreed that he personally would not post any more clips… leaving fellow Rising Star judge Ludacris to do his dirty work.

Someone at the label is having to work late sunday night because of me…Sorry guys! pic.twitter.com/uNgyIOw82s — Brad Paisley (@BradPaisley) July 28, 2014

I’d love to post another clip of music, but they’re watching me like a hawk but I’ll bet they’re not watching @ludacris … — Brad Paisley (@BradPaisley) July 28, 2014

Again, I promised the label I wouldn’t post the link myself. Me. Myself. I.

After having his fun, Paisley talked with the label, and posted the results of that…

So you wouldn’t believe the conversations that were had today about my actions. Problem is, I’m a terrible listener. So… — Brad Paisley (@BradPaisley) July 29, 2014

Last night @ludacris was my accomplice. But when I tried to post “Crushin It” yesterday, it got taken down . Hey @peoplemag You ready? — Brad Paisley (@BradPaisley) July 29, 2014

Monday (7/28) night, Paisley went straight to People Country to post his next possible single, “Crushin’ It.” However, shortly after the post went up, the label took the video down.

I bet the Suits blocked the link. Don’t worry, we’ll get another. But listen fast when I tweet it. Won’t last long I bet. — Brad Paisley (@BradPaisley) July 29, 2014
