Let me get out of the closet, seriously, I need a break. Okay, let me explain. I am in the middle of moving to a new house and part of that task is purging all the stuff you gather, collect and hoard. Needless to say, I’m spending way too much time in my closets sorting through clothes. It should be a quick easy task cause I “never have anything to wear” and therefore moving from one closet to another should take like 2 seconds, right? Unfortunately, that’s not the case. And this has lead to so many questions. Why do I have so many clothes that don’t fit but I don’t want to get rid of? What made me buy that a flowered blouse that looks like something my mom would wear? Can I still wear a mini skirt? Should I wear a mini skirt? Are mini skirts still in fashion? And of course there is the “motivational clothes” that I can’t throw out…cause I need them for motivation! “I have to keep these jeans that are two sizes too small to help me stay on my diet!” Yeah, right…the only way those jeans are going to make me lose weight is if I cut them up and eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next 6 months. Well, maybe not… but thank goodness for Slimfast!! They did a survey and the results show that I’m just like a bunch of other people who have extra clothes in their closets that they don’t wear!! Yay…now, back to the closet. I’m gonna need more boxes!
