Our thoughts are with Gary Allan today as he was forced to cancel tonight’s annual fan club party due to a viral infection that is putting strain on his voice.
Earlier this week, the “It Ain’t the Whiskey” singer spent two days with Doctor Gaeyln Garrett at the Vanderbilt Voice Clinic, but unfortunately has not recovered in time to perform at his fan club party. According to his Facebook page, “the strain is temporary and is expected to resolve as the viral infection runs its course.”
“I am so sorry to cancel my party and miss my fans,” Allan shared in a message on his Facebook this afternoon. “I was hoping to be better by today, but that did not happen. This is one of my favorite events of the year & I am just as disappointed as all of you. Thank-you for all of your support and well wishes.”
Refunds will be available through Allan’s fan club early next week. Allan hopes to resume his touring schedule as soon as possible.
